This was back when I was working as a DoorDash delivery driver in LA. During those late-night drives, I always had something playing in my car — Aphex Twin, Boards of Canada, Miles Davis, Chet Baker, Morphine, lots of classical music, jazz, J-rock, and everything in between.
And of course, I always carried my old Canon 6D with me to capture little pieces of those nights.
One night, after finishing my shift and coming back home, I sat down and created this track in about two hours, still under the influence of the nighttime LA atmosphere — and all those streets and hidden corners of the city you’d probably never see unless you were a DoorDash driver.
This track is my impression of that time.
Enjoy :)
